Teen pregnancy has a unique set of challenges, both emotionally and medically. We provide specialized care for pregnant teens and new teen moms.
We offer the following programs designed specifically for pregnant teens and young moms:
Adolescent maternity program
Colorado Adolescent Maternity Program (CAMP) is a multidisciplinary prenatal and postnatal program that addresses the medical as well as the social and emotional needs of young mothers and their families. Our team includes nurse practitioners and physicians, dieticians and social workers, psychologists and case coordinators.
This comprehensive approach to our young patients and their families helps ensure the healthiest pregnancy possible.
Psychological support program
HEART (Healthy Expectations Adolescent Response) Clinic provides care for pregnant and postpartum teens and young women with mood conditions. OB-GYN care is provided along with focused, ongoing psychological support, evaluation and treatment.
Young Mother’s Clinic
The Young Mother’s Clinic is offered through the Children’s Hospital Department of Adolescent Medicine. This program provides care specifically to young moms and their babies.
