About Dr. Lauren Harrington

Dr. Lauren Harrington earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Stanford University.

Dr. Harrington chose obstetrics and gynecology because she is passionate about helping women lead healthy, informed and empowered lives. She quickly builds rapport and trust with each of her patients. From welcoming a teenager to a first visit, to guiding a woman through childbirth, to navigating the transition through menopause, Dr. Harrington enjoys partnering with patients of all ages.

Throughout each visit with a patient, Dr. Harrington has an open and curious mind, warm demeanor and trauma-informed approach. By creating a caring and calm space, she finds patients have an easier time voicing their concerns and questions.

As an OB/GYN physician and surgeon, Dr. Harrington provides patients with a full spectrum of treatment options. She is also fluent in Spanish and takes great joy in creating a bond through language with patients who speak Spanish.

Throughout her career, Dr. Harrington has been recognized for her outstanding performance in the medical field. She participated in residency leadership at Stanford by serving as Administrative Chief Resident and serving on the resident selection and resident education committees. Her awards and recognitions are listed below.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Harrington enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, playing tennis and adventuring in the mountains with her family.
