About Dr. Zsemlye
After completing her undergraduate degree at The College of William and Mary, Dr. Meggan Zsemlye earned her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She later completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Zsemlye’s interest in obstetrics and gynecology stems from the variety of care that it allows her to practice. She thoroughly enjoys that the OB-GYN specialty incorporates a broad range of medicine and surgery. Dr. Zsemlye boasts expertise in colposcopy and cervical cancer. Her true passion is the management and treatment of cervical dysplasia and vulvar dystrophy. She is one of two providers who care for patients with complex vaginal and vulvar conditions. Dr. Zsemlye is also the medical director of the labor and delivery and postpartum units at CU Anschutz.
For Dr. Zsemlye, one of the best aspects of obstetrics and gynecology is working with patients during an important time in their lives and easing them through potentially difficult times. She has a true desire to help her patients. Regardless of whether she is providing basic medical care, delivering a baby or walking a patient through a cancer scare, she sees each patient relationship as a partnership – a delicate balance of listening to the patient’s concern and then creating a treatment plan together.
When she’s not in an exam room or the O.R., Dr. Zsemlye enjoys time outdoors with her husband. She’s also an avid reader.
