About Dr. Emily Rosen
Dr. Emily Rosen earned her medical degree from University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed her residency at University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Rosen chose a career in obstetrics and gynecology because it allowed her to form long-term relationships with patients and provide medical care and support in both the most joyous times and the most difficult times in their lives. She appreciates the wide variety of care provided as an OB-GYN including preventive and primary care, reproductive healthcare, menopause support, office procedures and surgery.
Teaching and mentoring have always been a passion of Dr. Rosen’s. Working with medical students and residents gives her the opportunity to pass along the knowledge she has learned from her teachers. And it encourages her to be an ideal role model for medical education while maintaining a connection with the next generation of outstanding healthcare providers.
Most of all, she is proud of having the honor to be a part of many incredible women’s lives and to be a person they feel safe and secure sharing their health concerns with.
Dr. Rosen’s approach to treating patients is focused on striving to listen intently, providing information on different treatment options, engaging patients in their care, and working together to find the approach that meets their individual needs. She is always honest and straight-forward with her patients so that together they can choose the treatment option that fits their unique medical history, meets their personal goals and values, and allows them to live their best and healthiest lives.
When Dr. Rosen is not working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She loves traveling, hiking, yoga, cooking, trying out new restaurants or seeing a new show. Since moving to Colorado she also taken up skiing.
